Camp Update

Posted in Featured, News & Updates

This week was a ton of fun, I had a big group of girls here on the scholarship, and a lot of them really opened up to what was being taught here at camp. I think my favorite moment was when I was able to share part of my story at campfire; I talked about how I had to learn what it meant to be a servant in my own home very early on. After sharing, I had the opportunity to talk to one of the girls and she immediately broke down in tears and talked about how she knows what it means to be a servant. She told me about how she had abusive parents and how CPS had to get involved. She no longer sees her parents and she has had to be the one to take care of her younger brother. I was so glad that she was able to be here at camp to experience the love of God, and to be able to enjoy being a kid. Overall this week created lasting memories and showed many campers the endless love God has to give!

God Bless,

Molly Britz
